Abstract

The objective of this article is to present the interest of the power regulation (active and reactive) of a wind system, for the improvement of the quality of produced energy to grid.

To this purpose, a variety of power control techniques, applied to the wind energy system based on the DFIG double feed asychronous generator are studied and developed. they consist of FOC controllers, a Backstepping controller, a Sliding Mode controller, and a Direct Torque Control (DTC) controller. The quality of the active and reactive power and the voltage of the wind system is significantly improved. a detailed study of the control techniques will be detailed and validate on the Matlab / Simulink environment with the simultaneous use of the “Pitch Control” and “MPPT” technique. Numerous results are given in order to illustrate the efficiency of the proposed solutions to achieve a high performance control of wind energy systems.
